Welcome to our knock-out game and the road to BUMSBowl XII starts here. There are no changes to the rules but for Mark H & to refresh your memory here’s how this knock-out tournament works. It’s a head-to-head contest with the highest scorer in each game going through. You must select 1 QB, 1 kicker and any 4 outfield players to play within a budget of $7.5 million using the same player prices as the regular season. (See attached spreadsheet). You can change all players between each round and in each game no more than 2 players can appear in both teams. Get your teams back to me by 10am on Saturday so we can sort out any swaps needed. Whoever gets their team to me first gets first pick of players to swap, if necessary, so a speedy reply is of the essence. If the scores are tied at the end of the games the tie-breaker is the player that scored latest in any game. As always top scoring owner plays lowest and so on, (coin toss used to decide those tied) so here are the Wildcard match ups. Andy H will play Aaron, Johnny v John, Ron v David S, Mark H v Marcus, AP v George, Mark v Chief, Cheryl v Dave G, and defending BUMSBowl champ Daz v Wayne. NFL Play-offs In the AFC the champs are the Perfect Patriots (East 16-0) and the Colts (South 13-3) with bye weeks & San Diego (West 11-5) and Pittsburgh (North 10-6) playing in the wildcard games at home to Tennessee (10-6) and Jacksonville (11-5) respectively. In the NFC the champs are Dallas (East 13-3) & Green Bay (North 13-3) with bye weeks & Seattle (West 10-6) and Tampa Bay (South 9-7) playing in the wildcard games at home to Washington (9-7) and NY Giants (10-6) respectively. BUMS on Seats. We will meet at BUMS HQ from 9:30pm on Saturday night for Washington’s visit to Seattle. The second game (Jacksonville @ Pittsburgh) kick’s off at 1am Sunday morning & we will watch this on Sunday from 4pm at BUMS HQ followed at 6pm by NY Giants @ Tampa Bay match-up and finally Tennessee travel to San Diego for a 9:30pm kick-off. The viewing plan for the Divisional games on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th January should be the same featuring one live game at 9:30pm on Saturday, then we will be getting together at 3:30pm Sunday afternoon at BUMS HQ for a triple header, starting with the recorded 1am second Saturday game then the two live games on Sunday evening.
